A Man from Florida opens fire in a bar about how many eggs a chicken can lay

A man from Florida was taken into custody for allegedly shooting at a group of people outside a bar during a disagreement about how many eggs a chicken can produce.
Peter Riera, who is 44 years old, called the police on November 4 and claimed he had been robbed and was being chased by two men and a woman at Harper's Pub in Port Saint Lucie, according to the local police department.

The three individuals involved—Brandon Pace, who is 23 years old; his girlfriend, Kayla Damiana, who is 26; and Tyler McHargue, who is also 23—told the responding officers that they had been talking to Riera.
They had been introduced to him that night as "Farmer Pete."

The conversation then turned to chickens and egg production.
However, it quickly became tense when Riera became suspicious and believed the group was going to "jump" him, according to statements from witnesses provided to the police.

Riera then accused the three of trying to "con" him and pulled out a gun.
He allegedly shot at the group as they were running away, but no one was hurt, police reported.

Footage from a body camera obtained by CBS 12 showed Riera being arrested outside the bar.
He was dressed in a pair of jeans overalls and appeared to be missing his shoes.

Pace was arrested for allegedly obstructing the officers and even kicked two of them while he was being held.
Damiana was also arrested for resisting an officer without using violence after she ran towards the officers while they were detaining Pace, even though she had been told to stay back, according to CBS 12.

Damiana was released on a $500 bond.
Pace is not currently in custody at the St. Lucie County Jail where he was originally booked after the arrest, as stated by the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office.

Pace still faces one count of resisting an officer with violence and two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, according to the police.

McHargue was not charged because he cooperated with the police.

Riera is currently being held on a $435,000 bond and is facing multiple charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, along with other lesser offenses such as discharging a firearm in public, according to the sheriff's office.
